Association Annual Meeting on February 27 to Feature San Jose Mayor Chuck Reed

The Sonoma County Taxpayers’ Association annual general membership meeting on February 27 will feature San Jose Mayor Chuck Reed as our keynote speaker.  Mayor Reed will address his 2014 Pension Reform Act and measures he has taken in San Jose to curb skyrocketing employee pension costs.  The Association is also pleased to announce that Sonoma County Board of Supervisors President David Rabbitt is our 2013 Spencer Flournoy Good Government Award recipient and will be honored at the annual meeting.

We’re changing things up a bit from years past.  This year’s annual meeting is a dinner meeting with cocktails starting at 6:00 p.m. and dinner served at 7:00 p.m.  We’ll meet at the Fountaingrove Inn, 101 Fountaingrove Parkway, Santa Rosa.  Cost is $60 for members and their guests; $70 for the general public.  Mayor Reed will attract a large crowd and advance reservations are highly recommended.  Payment can be made by clicking the “donate” icon just to the right of this post.  For registration form, click here.
